About the owner - Autumn Hopkins
Ever since a young age I aspired to be an artist, It started as a dream in my sketchbooks until I realized my worth and found inspiration to just go for it. I was born and raised in Lansing and then was accepted into Michigan State University in 2016. Later that year I lost my talented and loving grandmother, Oralie, which changed my life forever.
She was an amazing artist who pushed me to be creative and never give up on art. I knew how much she desired a life in the art world but never took that chance. So I officially decided to make a business in inspiration of her and to continue her legacy by spreading creativity and love through art. In the beginning of 2021 Aura Lee Gallery became an official LLC after years of growing and then that summer I graduated MSU with a degree in Fine Arts. I honestly believe that dreams can be real and we as women are capable of so much.
