How do I care for my jewelry?

Polymer clay a lightweight and durable, when cured it becomes a plastic-like material but it isn’t entirely unbreakable. The clay can get scratched up and break with rough handling so try to keep jewelry in a safe and dry area when not in use, keep away from other metal jewelry to prevent damage. I recommend keeping the bag it comes with for extra padding and safe keeping.

Makeup and other debris can be removed from clay components by gently going over blemished areas with a cotton swap or soft cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol or water.

Raw brass attachments and overtime may tarnish and darken if exposed to moisture and oils from the skin. Make sure to occasionally polish if you want to keep the shine, a little wear on the brass is not a bad thing and can be more of a preference. Polishing can be done with a jewelry cloth and/or tarnish remover. There are many options and ideas on polymer clay and brass care available online.

To extend the life of your jewelry, it is recommended to remove the jewelry prior to any activities like sleeping , swimming, or exercising and then storing them safely.

What is the shipping policy?

Shipping & packaging fees at checkout are based on the standard USPS rate for the shipping location and product weight.

​Each item is handmade and assembled by the artist, so that can create small imperfections and slight variations with each piece. Aura Lee Gallery is a small business so some items are done in batches and/or made to order, some are even one time creations. This can result in wait times when shipping an order. So please allow 1-3 business days for order fufillment and 1-2 weeks for completed shipping.


What is the return & exchange policy?

Aura Lee Gallery sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds. We may offer exchanges under certain circumstances. If an item is damaged as a result of quality or craftsmanship, customers must e-mail their concern within 14 days of receiving items for an exchange. Items mailed back for exchange must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Aura Lee Gallery reserves the right to refuse any exchange where the product returned is not in its original condition. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
